HIDE & SEEK Snuffle Mat and Puzzle Toy - Turkey

I got this for my dog, hoping it would keep her entertained. While the concept is fantastic and I can see how it would work well for many dogs, my dog just wasn’t interested. She’s extremely picky about her toys, so it may just be a case of her not taking to it. The mat itself is well-made, with a fun Red Panda design that looks cute and durable. If your dog isn’t as selective as mine, I think this would be a great tool to help combat boredom and engage their natural sniffing behavior. For my pup, though, it wasn’t the right fit. She did enjoy shredding the tail part of the mat, however.

I am so pleased with this snuffle mat. The loops are made from heavy-duty webbed material which makes for a more challenging snuffle session, but it's also holding up against copious amounts of dog slobber and heavy-duty snuffling. The turkey tail may not last quite as long as the rest of the turkey only because it's made from a very thick felt material - it's still substantial but won't remain intact with an "aggressive" chewer. I have just kept a very close eye on my dog while he's snuffling and then I take the tail portion away before he can heavily nibble at it.
I've run this thing through the delicate cycle in the washing machine and it comes out looking brand new. No signs of fraying or pulling apart at the seams. Note: I hang it to air dry rather than put it into the dryer.
It arrived in a very cute box with all the pertinent info you could ever want to know - you could easily wrap this and it would be ready to give as a present.

This mat works okay for our Lab. These are supposed to occupy a dog for ~10 mins but he usually finishes in about 4 minutes, so not very difficult. For a larger dog, I would invest in something larger with higher difficulty.
